Our first visit, we came to find peace and quiet away from the fireworks for our reactive dog and what a peaceful haven it is, beautiful cottage and what a welcome hamper! Everything is so well thought out, the sofas and beds are so comfortable. The dogs loved the garden. I even enjoyed washing up at the kitchen window with all the lovely birds, we were often visited by woody woodpecker and lots of red kites too. We saw dolphins in New Quay and the starling murmuration at Aberystwyth -, amazing! Paul was a perfect host and even pulled us out when we got stuck in mud! Thanks Paul. We will definitely be back! Blown away as soon as we arrived! Firstly, with the large lawn area which was so much bigger than expected! We absolutely loved it for our three cocker spaniels! Secondly, the welcome pack! My goodness, I’ve never seen one so good! Fresh bread, veg, cake and even a large selection of treats for our dogs! We spent mornings relaxing with a coffee watching all the different birds on the feeder, the dogs running outside, it was pure relaxation! By day two we already said we will be coming back next summer. I can’t wait to experience this place in the summer months. We really could not have asked for more during our 2 week stay. One of our dogs is reactive and finding a suitable place to stay is often challenging and not as relaxing as we would want it to be, however, the secure field here meant we could chill on the decking whilst the dogs took themselves for walk! There is literally everything here that you would need for your stay. The beds are luxurious and the bathrooms are of the highest standard. Overall, this is a fantastic place to relax (for both humans and dogs) and serves as the perfect base to explore the beautiful surrounding area. Good job, Paul and Diana! We have been extremely lucky with the weather, sunshine every day. Been out and about in the area and done lots of walking. Our seventh visit to this magical place & six month old Tommy’s first visit. What a week! The weather has been amazing& we’ve absolutely made the most of it. First visit to this tranquil paradise. The welcome pack for us and the dogs was really good. The cottage is so well equipped, with everything we could need. We all had a fabulous relaxing holiday. The weather was glorious. Fortunately it cooled down after a couple of days so we could go out and about exploring. The riveside walk at Llanerchaeron, which is only 15 minutes away was brilliant and the dogs loved splashing in the river. Coed y Foel was also a lovely walk and Longwood Community Woodland was loved by the dogs to. Thanks for filling the dogs pool Paul. The dogs really needed it. Our 5th visit to our Welsh ‘home’. We’ve had yet another very relaxing week and the dogs really enjoyed themselves zooming round the garden. First week post Wales lockdown and what a pleasure to return to Paul and Di’s cottage, our 4th visit. This year has been very different for everyone, but for us, many changes. It has been wonderful to share your beautiful cottage and views with my sister and brother-in-law. We’ve had a wonderful stay. The cottage is perfectly designed for humans and dogs alike. The dogs loved the space for zoomies. Storm Dennis and a broken ankle still healing curtailed our walking plans somewhat. Nevertheless we’ve enjoyed some mini adventures, particularly the spectacular stormy coast. What a wonderful cottage in a wonderful location. This place has everything you could ever need and is spotlessly clean. Our dogs have been in heaven running around the paddock and how lovely to have a doggy welcome pack and first aid kit too. We came away to spend time together and with our canine family, and that’s just what we did. First visit, whole set up was perfect for doggy holiday. Not many places take 4 dogs, including 2 ten month olds. Dogs loved it, so did I, garden was great for my youngsters to run around safe. This is our second visit to this wonderful peaceful cottage. A very warm greeting and excellent welcome pack enjoyed by us all, including the dogs, who, I’m sure, knew they were back again! Paul and Di have created such a beautiful place to stay and it is very obvious why guests return year after year, or perhaps even twice a year. We can also recommend New Quay beach for dogs and the 2 hour boat trip from the pier was a great experience. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here again and no doubt will return again soon.
